CartoonNetwork.com has a new look, and a big part of that is the new profile bar at the bottom of every page. It’s a quick, easy way to access your profile and keep all the most important info at your fingertips. We thought you might have some questions about it, so here are some answers in this handy FAQ:
I always used to log in at the top of the page. Where did that login go?
Login is now part of the profile bar at the bottom of the page. Just click “Log In” in the lower left corner of the page. You’ll always find it there on every page of the site.
I don’t have a Cartoon Network profile yet. Where do I sign up?
You can sign up through the profile bar, too! Just click “Sign Up” in the lower left corner of the page. Then you can start earning badges, leveling up and connecting with friends!
What’s the number with the blue meter next to it?
That’s your Level. We’ve added point values to all our game badges. As you earn badges, you’ll add points to your total, and once you get enough points, you’ll level up! The blue meter shows how close you are to making the next level. (You won’t see this number or the meter until you log in.)
What’s the exclamation point with the number next to it?
That’s your Alert section. You’ll see an alert there when you earn a new badge or level up. The number tells you how many alerts have come in since the last time you checked them.
What’s the box with people in it?
That’s your Friends button. With just one click, you can go to the Friends section of your profile, where you can see your existing friends, find new friends, and manage friend requests. You can also compare levels and points among your friends to see who’s the true badge master.
Do I get points for badges I’ve already earned?
Yep! If you’ve already earned a bunch of badges, you’ll get all those points. So you might already be higher than Level 1.
How do I see more details about my profile?
Click on your user name in the profile bar (the three names you picked when you signed up), and you’ll go to your main profile page. We updated the design so it’s easier to change your profile pic and DNA. And you’ll notice your level, points and badges are right up front for everybody to see. Did you notice every level has its own unique icon?
How do I move the profile bar out of the way?
Just click the arrow in the bottom right corner of the page, and the profile bar will slide out of sight, except for your profile pic. When you want to open the profile bar back up, just click the arrow to the left of your profile pic.
