Get to Know Rook, Ben 10′s Crime-Fighting Partner

Rook Blonko came from humble beginnings on the farming planet Revonnah. Members of his species, known as Revonnahganders, grow the valuable and versatile crop known as Amber Ogia. Rook was close to his family, but he left Revonnah to join the Plumber Academy. In the episode “Bros in Space,” Rook returned to Revonnah, where he helped battle the muroids.

Rook joins Rook Da, Rook Brallah and Rook Shi as they defend their crops from the muroids.

Rook was at the top of his class in the Plumber Academy, so the Plumbers partnered him with Ben Tennyson. Rook’s expert training and Ben’s field experience made them the perfect team. Watch Rook in action as he battles the Kraaho, in this clip from the episode “Hot Stretch.”

In addition to his extensive knowledge and skills, Rook wields a unique weapon known as a Proto-Tool. It can change into many different shapes and perform a variety of functions, so Rook always has the perfect implement for any situation.

Rook turns the Proto-Tool into a bow and shows off his precision marksmanship.

Rook fires a bolas-style projectile to tangle up his foe.

Rook uses dual grappling lines to save Rath and Grandpa Max from a waterfall.

Rook can also use the Proto-Tool as a shoulder-mounted weapon.

Here, he fires a net to capture multiple enemies at once.

If the bad guys get too close, Rook can turn the Proto-Tool into a sword.

Rook also has the Proto-Truk at his disposal. This powerful vehicle usually looks like a deceptively normal plumbing truck.

But when the action heats up, the Proto-Truk can turn into a flying ship with a variety of onboard weapons.
